Sorry for the lapse in the report. There was no reports for June July and August.
The following birds of note were reported this past week from Presque Isle S.P.

                              at least 2; May 6 & 7; Leo's and Beach 11 area
 Least Bittern  1; May 6; Sidewalk Trail
 Black-crowned Night-Heron  1; May 6; Sidewalk Trail
 Piping Plover  1; May 1 & 4; Gull Point
 Willet  4; May 1; Gull Point
 Red-Knot  1; May 1; Gull Point; record early in Erie County by about two weeks.
 Glaucous Gull  1; May 4; Gull Point
 Black Tern  1; May 5 to 7; Presque Isle Bay around Leo's landing
 Yellow-rumped (Audubon's) Warbler  1 male; May 7; Pine Tree Trail
 Prairie Warbler  1; May 6 & 7; Pine Tree Trail

May 14
Black Scoter  1; May 13; off Beach 11
 American White Pelican  1; May 13; Lake City
 Least Bittern  1; May 14; Niagara Pond
 Piping Plover--1 continuing male; through the week; Gull Point
 Golden-winged Warbler  1; May 13; Fry's landing
                                        1; May 14; Pine Tree Trail
 Cerulean Warbler  1; May 14; ranger's station
 Orange-crowned Warbler  1 or 2; May 14; Fry's landing (banding station)
 Clay-colored Sparrow  up to 3; May 14; north pier and Thompson Circle
 Gray Catbirds and White-crowned Sparrows were everywhere on the park on May 14 and at least 24 species of warblers were also reported including Mourning, Canada, Hooded, and Wilson's warblers.
