The following birds of note were reported from Erie Co., Pa.
Northern Saw-whet Owl  1; Nov. 3; pines on Presque Isle S.P.
Lapland Longspur  3; Nov. 4; Gull Point, Presque Isle S.P.
Evening Grosbeak  1 female; Nov. 2; Greene Twp. feeder
Small flocks of Pine Siskins have been reported in the birches at the east end of Presque Isle S.P., as well as a few at feeding stations in the Erie area.

The following birds of note were reported from Presque Isle S.P., Pa. unless noted otherwise.
Pacific Loon  1; Nov. 6; Walnut Creek access (Waterbird Count)  Fifth county record.
Eared Grebe  1; Nov. 11; Sunset Point (WC)
Parasitic Jaeger  1; Nov. 8; Sunset Point (WC)
Short-eared Owl  1; Nov. 11; Sunset Point (WC)
Rufous/Allen’s hummingbird  1; early November to at least Nov. 10; Harborcreek
Single Evening Grosbeaks at feeding stations reported from Greene Twp., McKean, and Millcreek twp.

Common Loon  1300 (high count); Nov. 13; east end of Presque Isle Bay

Eastern Phoebe  1 (late); Nov. 17; Edinboro Lake
Evening Grosbeak  1 pair; Nov. 15; Waterford

Cackling Goose  1; Nov. 19; Fairview Industrial Park

Likely Rufous Hummingbird female  1; continues to at least Nov. 21; Harborcreek

 Northern Shrike  1; to at least Dec. 27; Fairview Industrial Park
 Nashville Warbler  1;  Dec. 23; Coast Guard Rd., Presque Isle S.P.; first winter record for Erie County
Other uncommon wintering birds reported this past week include White-winged Scoter, Long-tailed Duck, Red-throated Loon, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and Hermit Thrush.
