The following birds of note were reported from Presque Isle S.P., Erie, Pa., unless noted otherwise.

Piping Plover  1 banded individual still present to at least July 15
 
American Avocet  1; July 13-15
 
Willet  up to 2; July 11-17
 
Marbled Godwit  1; July 13
 
Baird's Sandpiper  1; July 17; first of the season

Willet;  1; July 18 & 19
 
Whimbrel;  1; July 18
 
Stilt Sandpiper;  1; July 18
 
Wilson's Phalarope;  1; July 18 & 23
 
Merlin;  a family group of five; July 17; Fairview Twp. & two young in a nest; July 18; Edinboro
 
Pine Siskin;  1; July 23; at a feeder in Edinboro 

Ruddy Duck  1; July 30
 
Willet  1; July 27

Marbled Godwit  1; Aug. 13
 
Stilt Sandpiper  1; Aug. 13
 
Baird's Sandpiper was also reported this past week.

Other species of shorebirds reported from Gull Point this  week include: Black-bellied Plover, Semipalmated Plover, Greater and Lesser yellowlegs, Ruddy Turnstone, Sanderling, Semipalmated, Least, and Baird's sandpiper, and Short-billed Dowitcher.
