Bird Report for February

​The following birds of note were reported from Presque Isle S.P., Erie, Pa., unless noted otherwise.

Iceland Gull  1 first cycle; Feb. 9, Lake View Landfill
 
Glaucous Gull  2 first cycle; Feb. 9; Lake View Landfill
 
Snowy Owl  1; Feb. 9; Near Wattsburg
 
Unconfirmed Snowy Owls were also reported from Beach 10 at Presque Isle S.P. on Feb. 7 and one was reported from North East on Feb. 13.

Lesser Black-backed Gull  1 adult; Feb. 26; off Niagara boat launch
 
Glaucous Gull  1 adult; Feb. 26; off Niagara boat launch
 
Snowy Owl  1; Feb. 25; Gull Point.  An unconfirmed report came from the junction of West 26th St. and Interstate 79 in Erie on Feb. 26.
