I spent about an hour yesterday and today at the Lake View Landfill SE of Erie and found some interesting birds.
Tough times for ravens as well, since about three of them turned up for the first time at the landfill. The crows didn't seem to bother them, but the gulls gave them a hard time as they grabbed pieces of garbage. The ravens flew around the landfill calling and after grabbing a piece of garbage they would fly south.
Other birds of interest at the landfill include:
Erie, Erie County, Pa.
The following birds of note were reported this week, mostly from Presque Isle S.P., Pa.
